Laura and Sam’s Biltmore Estate Wedding

I love September weddings, and this one was no exception! Laura and Sam were married on September 10th at the beautiful and enchanting Deerpark on The Biltmore Estate. They looked amazing (doesn’t hurt that they run marathons!), and they were so incredibly happy. The flowers by The Flower Gallery were stunning, and they were so so fortunate to have Woodward + Rick as their photographers. Gorgeous, timeless photos that they will treasure forever. Enjoy!

Caris and Matt Wed at Yesterday’s Spaces

Okay, so be prepared for a lot of pictures, because I loved everything about this wedding.  Caris and Matt were the kindest, most fun, carefree couple, and I simply adored them.  Their love for life, for Christ, for their families and friends, and for each other was so inspiring and beautiful.  They had their ceremony and reception at a great new venue called Yesterday’s Spaces.  For the ceremony, the guests and bridal party passed through a pathway of trees that opened up into a field over looking the mountains.  Couldn’t have been a better set up by nature!  Then the guests enjoyed delicious food by The Colorful Palate,  s’mores by the bonfire, and dancing to the band, Ascension late into the night.  A simply perfect evening!  Thank you to Caris, Matt and their families for allowing me to be a part.

Also a HUGE thank you to Jennifer Crook Photography for all the amazing pictures!

Alyson and Alex Get Married!

It was a gorgeous fall day when Alyson and Alex were married at the First Congregational Church in downtown Asheville.  Alyson was radiant, and you could tell that Alex was so proud to her husband.  Love my job!!  :)   I really enjoyed getting to know Alyson and Alex throughout the wedding planning process.  It was important to them that music was incorporated throughout the reception at the Crest Pavilion, as they both love music and Alex plays the bass and electric guitar.  What a fun and creative time we had with this!  Their guests got their ‘tickets (escort cards)’ from Will Call, each table was named after their favorite bands, Wines That Rock were featured on each table, candles were wrapped in musical notes, and guests signed one of Alex’s guitars for their ‘guest book’.  Their band, A Social Function, blew everyone away and guests danced the night away.  It was a beautiful evening for a fabulous couple.  So happy for them!  Thank you to The Bloom Room for the stunning fall floral.  Simply perfection.  So excited that Two Ring Studios was on hand as their photographers, as their pictures always rock (okay, that was cheesy, but true!).  :)

Sara and Ben’s Biltmore Wedding

Sara and Ben were married in August at the always lovely Deerpark, located on The Biltmore Estate.  The weather threatened to get in the way, but just in time, the skies cleared and Sara and Ben were able to have the wedding that had dreamed of.  Love!  Two Ring Studios was there to capture this sweet couple as they said their vows, dined with their guests, and danced the night away.  Thank you, Two Rings, for the fabulous pictures!  Also thank you to The Bloom Room, for enhancing the beauty of the Deerpark with your floral design.  It was a great evening for all!

Leah and Zack’s October Wedding

Leah and Zack were married at the amazingly beautiful Champion Hills Country Club in Hendersonville, NC.  This location has one of the best views of the mountains, and their newly renovated reception space is stunning.  I loved getting to know Leah and helping her plan this fun, laid back, fall inspired wedding.  She and Zack have been together for many many years now, and they have two adorable children together.  Let’s just say the kids were a big hit at the wedding!  Thank you to Lissa with Flora, for capturing Leah’s vision beautifully through the flowers and decor.  Great job!  Also, thank you to Mozingo Photography for all the fabulous pictures.  Loved working with Meriah Mozingo and her husband, Michael.  They are a fun and talented couple.  Check out their pictures…

Shannon and John’s Wedding!

Shannon and John were married at the beautiful Walled Gardens on the ground of The Biltmore Estate this past September.  After the ceremony, the guests attended an enchanting and fun reception at the Antler Hill Barn.  The brilliant and artistic Parker J Pfister photographed this happy occasion, and as always, I am in awe of his work.  Thank you to Tere for helping me out on this one!

Kenmure Country Club Wedding Reception

Back in June, Catherine and Patrick were married at the beautiful St. James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville, NC.  A huge thunderstorm blew in right before the ceremony, and the power even went out a few minutes before the wedding!  All was well, though, because the power came back on as Catherine waited to walk in.  A gorgeous evening followed, and everyone was happy!  After the ceremony, guests made their way to the historic and picturesque Kenmure Country Club for dinner and dancing.  So much fun for all!  Thank you to Realities Photography for a fantastic job capturing this wedding, and thank you for allowing me to share all of these photos!  Enjoy…

Melissa and Casey Get Married!

What a fabulous couple Melissa and Casey make! I had so much fun working with Melissa and her mom, Sharon, on this very special wedding. Melissa was truly stunning, and she could not have looked happier. The wedding took place on the Sammon’s Balcony at the Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa, and the reception was held in the Skyline Room. Stacey with The Bloom Room blew us all away with her gorgeous floral. Thank you SO much to Jeremy Russell for the exquisite photography…they were blessed to have you capturing their event. Take a look!

Lovely July Wedding

Katie and John are a gorgeous couple, and as sweet as they come.  The decided to have their ceremony at the spectacular St. Lawrence Basilica in downtown Asheville for an afternoon wedding.  Guests then made their way through the grounds of the historic Biltmore Estate to the Lioncrest for dinner and dancing.  It was a romantic and perfect day for Katie and John, and I could not be happier for them.  Abigail Seymour was on site as their photographer, and the results are breathtaking…enjoy!

Pherson’s a Cover Model!

So, several months ago, Parker Pfister took some delicious photos of my daughter, Pherson.  Who knew that a few months later, Nikon World Magazine would use one of these pictures for their cover!  They contacted Parker because they wanted to feature him in their fall 2011 (which is such an incredible honor, by the way), and so he submitted hundreds of pictures for them to choose from.  Boy, was I surprised when not only did they want to feature Parker on the cover, but they chose a picture of our little girl!  :)   Beyond thrilled.  Thank you, Parker and thank you Nikon!
