Shannon and John’s Wedding!

Shannon and John were married at the beautiful Walled Gardens on the ground of The Biltmore Estate this past September.  After the ceremony, the guests attended an enchanting and fun reception at the Antler Hill Barn.  The brilliant and artistic Parker J Pfister photographed this happy occasion, and as always, I am in awe of his work.  Thank you to Tere for helping me out on this one!

Kenmure Country Club Wedding Reception

Back in June, Catherine and Patrick were married at the beautiful St. James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville, NC.  A huge thunderstorm blew in right before the ceremony, and the power even went out a few minutes before the wedding!  All was well, though, because the power came back on as Catherine waited to walk in.  A gorgeous evening followed, and everyone was happy!  After the ceremony, guests made their way to the historic and picturesque Kenmure Country Club for dinner and dancing.  So much fun for all!  Thank you to Realities Photography for a fantastic job capturing this wedding, and thank you for allowing me to share all of these photos!  Enjoy…

Melissa and Casey Get Married!

What a fabulous couple Melissa and Casey make! I had so much fun working with Melissa and her mom, Sharon, on this very special wedding. Melissa was truly stunning, and she could not have looked happier. The wedding took place on the Sammon’s Balcony at the Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa, and the reception was held in the Skyline Room. Stacey with The Bloom Room blew us all away with her gorgeous floral. Thank you SO much to Jeremy Russell for the exquisite photography…they were blessed to have you capturing their event. Take a look!

Lovely July Wedding

Katie and John are a gorgeous couple, and as sweet as they come.  The decided to have their ceremony at the spectacular St. Lawrence Basilica in downtown Asheville for an afternoon wedding.  Guests then made their way through the grounds of the historic Biltmore Estate to the Lioncrest for dinner and dancing.  It was a romantic and perfect day for Katie and John, and I could not be happier for them.  Abigail Seymour was on site as their photographer, and the results are breathtaking…enjoy!

Pherson’s a Cover Model!

So, several months ago, Parker Pfister took some delicious photos of my daughter, Pherson.  Who knew that a few months later, Nikon World Magazine would use one of these pictures for their cover!  They contacted Parker because they wanted to feature him in their fall 2011 (which is such an incredible honor, by the way), and so he submitted hundreds of pictures for them to choose from.  Boy, was I surprised when not only did they want to feature Parker on the cover, but they chose a picture of our little girl!  :)   Beyond thrilled.  Thank you, Parker and thank you Nikon!

Ola and Nathan’s Wedding

I adore Ola and Nathan, and I loved everything about their wedding.  They were married in May at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, overlooking the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina.  The views from this venue are simply breathtaking. Thank you to Lissa with Flora, for the romantic and delicate floral.  You were able to capture Ola and Nathan’s vision perfectly!  Also a huge thank you to their fabulous photographer, Jeremy Russell.  So hard to choose when every picture is amazing!  :)

First, I wanted to share pictures of Ola and Nathan’s rehearsal dinner located at the Champagne Cellar at The Biltmore Estate

And now on to the big wedding day!!

Cameron and Tommy

Cameron and Tommy were married on a beautiful afternoon this past May at the Cliffs Glassy Chapel.  After exchanging vows, they celebrated in style with a heavy hors d’oeuvres reception at the Cliffs Valley Country Club.  Cameron and Tommy were so radiant, and such a joy to watch on their wedding day.  Thank you to Olivia Griffin Photography for the lovely pictures, to The Bloom Room for your romantic floral, and to all that were involved in making this wedding a success!   Also, we can’t forget to thank, Lilly Pulitzer, for making an appearance in many places throughout this wedding process!  :)   Cameron loves her some Lilly!

Enjoy!

Cameron was so sweet to give all of her bridesmaids Lilly dresses to get ready in!

Elizabeth and Michael Wed!

First of all, I want to apologize to all my readers for not blogging in a while.  I promise to be better!  It has been difficult to find the time during the busy wedding season!  :)

Elizabeth and Michael were married in one of the most beautiful and quaint locations I have been to….Banner Elk.  Their rehearsal dinner was outside of the horse stables that were part of the Elk River Club’s Equestrian Center.  Oil lanterns, checkered table clothes, delicious food, and absolutely stunning scenery made the evening perfect! Thank you so Vesic Photography for capturing this special time…

Didn’t you just love that?  Makes me smile.  Elizabeth and Michael’s wedding ceremony took place in the courtyard at the Elk River Club, and the reception took place inside their main ballroom.  Elk River Club has beautiful landscaping, and it was a magical setting for their ceremony.  My favorite moment was when Elizabeth met her dad at the end of the aisle, and he walked her down without any assistance from his wheelchair.  It brought tears to everyone’s eyes.  I loved working with Elizabeth and Michael, and it was so wonderful getting to know their families.  Enjoy some more fabulous pictures by Vesic Photography!

Liz and Jaco Wed!

Liz and Jaco are a stunning couple, who have it all going for them…they are super sweet, gorgeous to look at, very smart, and certainly in love!  I really enjoyed getting to know them as individuals and as a couple, and also working with Liz’s parents was a pleasure.  The wedding ceremony was held at the majestic Cliffs Glassy Chapel, while the reception was at the Cliffs Glassy Clubhouse.  Everyone had an amazing time, and it was so much fun to watch!  Thank you to Jacob Dean Photography for these fabulous pictures…
