Avery and Nick Wed at the Cliffs

Avery was a blast to work with, and to see her so happy on her wedding day made all the planning worth it.  She looked amazing, and I loved the fact that she had two different wedding dresses for the festivities.  The ceremony took place at the Cliffs Glassy Chapel in South Carolina.  The views from this chapel are indescribable…there is no chapel that compares!  Then the guests were transported to the Cliffs Falls Clubhouse for the dinner reception.  The dinner took place on the clubhouse’s magnificent porch so they were able to enjoy the views all evening. The Bloom Room wowed everyone with their flowers and Jeremy Russell was the perfect photographer to capture the day.  THANK YOU, Jeremy, for all of these pictures!

Thank you to Jamie and Caroline with Capello Salon for Avery’s (and her girls) makeup and hair!

Before the guests arrived at the ceremony, Avery and Nick wanted to see each other…I just love this picture of Nick waiting on his bride-to-be.

Rhythm Nation definitely got everyone dancing and having a good time!

I thought this was such a precious picture of Avery, Nick and Avery’s parents…a lot of emotion here.

Falon’s bridals

Falon’s bridal portraits are so beautiful, not only because Two Ring Studios does great work, but because Falon is a fabulous model!  She is so gorgeous, and I thought you all would enjoy!  Pictures of their wedding on the Biltmore Estate to come soon…

Emily and John Wed at St. Lawrence Basilica

What a sweet and adorable couple Emily and John are!  Even though they were both students at Wake Forest University, they did not meet one another until studying abroad in Sicily.  After leaving Sicily, John wrote to Emily everyday for a month in a journal, then later sent the journal to her.  SO romantic!!

Emily and John were married at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, and Emily looked breathtaking in her Monique Lhullier dress.  I loved this dress because the tulle skirt was detachable, so she looked like she was wearing a totally different dress at the reception.

Since they met in Sicily and it was a place that was dear to both of their hearts, we made sure it was sprinkled throughout the wedding reception.  Each table was named after a place that John and Emily visited, plus they included pictures they took when they were there.  An assortment of gelato was served to the guests along with the wedding cake, and Limoncellos were given as favors.  Sweet peas, which are native to Sicily, were painted on to each invitation by the amazing Dana with A Fine Line Studio, and they were included in her bouquet.  Stacey with The Bloom Room was responsible for the beautiful flowers…she never ceases to amaze me with her art!  And a big thank you to Abigail Seymour, who I adore working with, for these stunning photos…enjoy!

Kathryn and Doug marry at The Diana

Kathryn and Doug were married in July at The Diana, which is located on the Biltmore Estate.  The views from The Diana are spectacular, as you have a perfect view of the Biltmore House and the mountains beyond.  I love this venue for a wedding and reception.

Kathyrn and Doug met while in school at Auburn, and they have been together for three and a half years.  They were very ready to get married and to spend their wedding weekend with friends and family.  I so enjoyed seeing Doug get so excited on the day of his wedding, and I especially enjoyed watching him as Kathryn rode up to the ceremony in a horse and carriage.  It was truly magical and very romantic!

Angela Stott Photography provided all these wonderful photographs for you to enjoy.  Thank you, Angela, for your exquisite work.

Carrie and Matt’s Film Trailer

Now that you have enjoyed the pictures of Carrie and Matt’s wedding, let’s put the the icing on the cake and show you the trailer produced by Four Seasons Films. Their work is always top notch, and I think you will really enjoy watching this one.  Click on the picture below.

Carrie and Matt’s Fairytale Wedding Part 2

And now on to Part 2 of Carrie and Matt’s wedding weekend…the wedding day! Carrie and Matt’s said their vows to each other at the majestic and historic Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville. From there, guests made their way to the Deerpark, on the Biltmore Estate. At first guests enjoyed a cocktail reception in the Lodge Room, which Carrie and Matt renamed the ‘Smooches Lounge’. Smoochtinis were served to the guests, a Smoochbooth was set up for guests to take fun pictures, lounge furniture was scattered throughout, and best of all there was a Lipologist there to entertain!   What is a Lipologist, you ask?  This is someone who ‘reads’ lip prints! There was lipstick laid out for both women and men so they could ‘smooch’ a piece of paper to make their lip print. Then the lipologist would tell them what their lip prints meant…the guests loved it! After leaving the smooch lounge, guests were escorted into a truly enchanting reception fit for a princess and her prince! One of my favorite moments was when Carrie and Matt saw their reception site for the first time…they just gasped and said how amazing it looked. I believe I even saw a few tears brimming…love that!  Check out Corey McNabb‘s imagery…he captured the event so perfectly…enjoy!

Makeup by Blush by Wendy…she is so good at her job!

Blossom’s really outdid themselves on this wedding…great job!

Matt, the groom, built the sweetheart booth…awesome!

All the tables were named after quotes from Disney movies.

Carrie and Matt had special plates made for their meal with their initials carved into the tree.

Matt built this bar especially for this day!

Everyone had an amazing time (as you can tell) dancing to the beats of DJ, Pat Lance, with Spintastic Sounds.

Late night snack of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches…yum!

And they lived happily ever after…

Carrie and Matt’s Fairytale Wedding Part I

Carrie and Matt’s wedding weekend was truly a fairytale.  Carrie used to work at Disney World, so she wanted the entire wedding weekend to have a magical feel, and it certainly did!  The rehearsal dinner took place at the Antler Hill Barn, located on the Biltmore Estate.  The ‘theme’ of the evening was centered around ‘Be Our Guest’ from the Beauty and the Beast.  This colorful and fun rehearsal dinner was the perfect way to begin the wedding festivities!  Check out the photos by the fabulous Corey McNabb Photography and the splendid floral design by Blossoms

Stacey and Bryan’s Wedding!

Stacey and Bryan were married at the Biltmore Estate at the enchanting Deerpark.  The ceremony took place in the courtyard, surrounded by their family friends. After a plated meal their guests danced the night away under the stars.  It was a beautiful evening, and I know they were so happy to finally tie the knot!  Thank you to the always amazing Woodward + Rick for an exquisite job capturing this special event!

The Flower Gallery staff did a great job with the floral design!

Stacey has a beautiful smile…

All the tables were named after their favorite wines…

I love this first dance shot…

Stacey had personalized shot glasses made in memory of her dad.  Stacey gave a heartfelt toast to her father, and all of her guests joined in.

Thank you to Stacey and Bryan for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!

Caitlin and Trevor Get Married!

The wedding between Caitlin and Trevor was extra special to me because Caitlin’s family are very dear to my heart!  I have known them for a while now, and to see Caitlin and her parents so happy brought me so much joy!  Caitlin and Trevor’s wedding took place at the lovely Claxton Farm, surrounded by North Carolina’s stunning mountains.  Meriah Mozingo did an outstanding job with photographs as you will see below.  Thank you to Liz with The Purple Iris for creating the perfect floral floral design for Caitlin and Trevor.  I had so much fun working with Denise and Fred (Caitlin’s parents), and I thank them for asking me to be a part of this very special occasion in their lives.

A special thank you to Tere for all of your help with this event!

So sweet and adorable…lots and lots of flower girls!

Caitlin’s sister played the flute for the prelude…I love this.

I love that they have a dinner bell that the bride and groom can ring at Claxton…

Tiffany’s cakes are always so amazing.  Her work is perfection!

This picture makes me teary…just like her daddy!
