Ola and Nathan’s Wedding

I adore Ola and Nathan, and I loved everything about their wedding.  They were married in May at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, overlooking the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina.  The views from this venue are simply breathtaking. Thank you to Lissa with Flora, for the romantic and delicate floral.  You were able to capture Ola and Nathan’s vision perfectly!  Also a huge thank you to their fabulous photographer, Jeremy Russell.  So hard to choose when every picture is amazing!  :)

First, I wanted to share pictures of Ola and Nathan’s rehearsal dinner located at the Champagne Cellar at The Biltmore Estate

And now on to the big wedding day!!

Sara and Ben’s Engagement Shoot

Thank you to Derek and Galin, with Two Ring Studios, for letting me ‘steal’ a few pictures of Sara and Ben’s engagement shoot.  ;)   I just adore Sara and Ben, and I am excited for their wedding that will be happening at the Deerpark, on The Biltmore Estate, in August.  It will be a spectacular day, I just know it!  Beautiful pictures of a precious couple…

A Biltmore Estate Wedding

I love fall weddings, and this one was no exception.  Anna and Lee’s much anticipated day was simply perfect, and I loved seeing them so happy.  They were fortunate to have an incredible photographer, Abigail Seymour, capturing the day, and their pictures are fabulous!  The ceremony took place out on the terrace of the Lioncrest, located on the historic Biltmore Estate.  As guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres upstairs in the ballroom, the terrace was transformed into their dinner reception.  It was a fun and magical night for all, and I was so happy to be a part!

I just love it when daddy's first see their little girls... :)

Stephanie and Adam’s Intimate Wedding

I loved every aspect of Stephanie and Adam’s wedding day, because it was so intimate and precious.  To me, the ceremony began back in their hotel room, as they wanted to dress each other for the most special moment of their lives.  I just know it was like time stood still for them, and you can see this in Parker Pfister’s breathtaking photographs.  After going around the spectacular grounds of the Biltmore Estate for pictures, they joined their family for their ceremony in the Champagne Cellar.  Once the ceremony ended, their guests were delighted by a winery tour and tasting while the Cellar was transformed into their dinner reception.  A wonderful day…

Blossoms did a fabulous job creating a magical atmosphere for this intimate wedding…

Parker must have said something pretty funny to us…  :)

Melissa and Bryan’s Wedding at the Basilica

Melissa and Bryan are such a beautiful couple.  I adored their style and attention to detail, and they chose such an amazing time of year to get married…the fall!  Their wedding took place at the historic Basilica of St. Lawrence, in downtown Asheville, NC.  Following the wedding, guests traveled to the Biltmore Estate for a sit-down dinner  and dancing at the Lioncrest.  Every detail of this wedding was so beautiful, and Woodward + Rick were the perfect photographers to have around!  Thank you to Brian and Gry for supplying me with so many photographs to show!

Bryan was on his college rowing team, as were most of his friends…thought this was a fun picture.

I think this is such an amazing picture of Melissa..she is gorgeous!

Kristina and Scott Get Married!

Kristina and Scott were married on a beautiful September day at the Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville, NC.  After the ceremony, guests joined Kristina and Scott at the Deerpark on The Biltmore Estate for dinner and dancing.  Kristina and Scott were the sweetest, and I am thrilled for them.  Thank you to Blend Photography for the gorgeous pictures, and thank you to Tere for all of her help to make everything run smoothly!

Emily and John Wed at St. Lawrence Basilica

What a sweet and adorable couple Emily and John are!  Even though they were both students at Wake Forest University, they did not meet one another until studying abroad in Sicily.  After leaving Sicily, John wrote to Emily everyday for a month in a journal, then later sent the journal to her.  SO romantic!!

Emily and John were married at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, and Emily looked breathtaking in her Monique Lhullier dress.  I loved this dress because the tulle skirt was detachable, so she looked like she was wearing a totally different dress at the reception.

Since they met in Sicily and it was a place that was dear to both of their hearts, we made sure it was sprinkled throughout the wedding reception.  Each table was named after a place that John and Emily visited, plus they included pictures they took when they were there.  An assortment of gelato was served to the guests along with the wedding cake, and Limoncellos were given as favors.  Sweet peas, which are native to Sicily, were painted on to each invitation by the amazing Dana with A Fine Line Studio, and they were included in her bouquet.  Stacey with The Bloom Room was responsible for the beautiful flowers…she never ceases to amaze me with her art!  And a big thank you to Abigail Seymour, who I adore working with, for these stunning photos…enjoy!

Orange Krush definitely got the guests moving!

Kathryn and Doug marry at The Diana

Kathryn and Doug were married in July at The Diana, which is located on the Biltmore Estate.  The views from The Diana are spectacular, as you have a perfect view of the Biltmore House and the mountains beyond.  I love this venue for a wedding and reception.

Kathyrn and Doug met while in school at Auburn, and they have been together for three and a half years.  They were very ready to get married and to spend their wedding weekend with friends and family.  I so enjoyed seeing Doug get so excited on the day of his wedding, and I especially enjoyed watching him as Kathryn rode up to the ceremony in a horse and carriage.  It was truly magical and very romantic!

Angela Stott Photography provided all these wonderful photographs for you to enjoy.  Thank you, Angela, for your exquisite work.

Carrie and Matt’s Film Trailer

Now that you have enjoyed the pictures of Carrie and Matt’s wedding, let’s put the the icing on the cake and show you the trailer produced by Four Seasons Films. Their work is always top notch, and I think you will really enjoy watching this one.  Click on the picture below.

Carrie and Matt’s Fairytale Wedding Part 2

And now on to Part 2 of Carrie and Matt’s wedding weekend…the wedding day! Carrie and Matt’s said their vows to each other at the majestic and historic Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville. From there, guests made their way to the Deerpark, on the Biltmore Estate. At first guests enjoyed a cocktail reception in the Lodge Room, which Carrie and Matt renamed the ‘Smooches Lounge’. Smoochtinis were served to the guests, a Smoochbooth was set up for guests to take fun pictures, lounge furniture was scattered throughout, and best of all there was a Lipologist there to entertain!   What is a Lipologist, you ask?  This is someone who ‘reads’ lip prints! There was lipstick laid out for both women and men so they could ‘smooch’ a piece of paper to make their lip print. Then the lipologist would tell them what their lip prints meant…the guests loved it! After leaving the smooch lounge, guests were escorted into a truly enchanting reception fit for a princess and her prince! One of my favorite moments was when Carrie and Matt saw their reception site for the first time…they just gasped and said how amazing it looked. I believe I even saw a few tears brimming…love that!  Check out Corey McNabb‘s imagery…he captured the event so perfectly…enjoy!

Makeup by Blush by Wendy…she is so good at her job!

Blossom’s really outdid themselves on this wedding…great job!

Matt, the groom, built the sweetheart booth…awesome!

All the tables were named after quotes from Disney movies.

Carrie and Matt had special plates made for their meal with their initials carved into the tree.

Matt built this bar especially for this day!

Everyone had an amazing time (as you can tell) dancing to the beats of DJ, Pat Lance, with Spintastic Sounds.

Late night snack of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches…yum!

And they lived happily ever after…
