Weddings With Tara » Asheville wedding http://weddingswithtara.com Relax and Enjoy Every Moment Mon, 21 May 2012 16:48:17 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 Caris and Matt Wed at Yesterday’s Spaces http://weddingswithtara.com/blog/caris-and-matt-wed-at-yesterdays-spaces/ http://weddingswithtara.com/blog/caris-and-matt-wed-at-yesterdays-spaces/#comments Wed, 18 Apr 2012 01:32:26 +0000 tara http://weddingswithtara.com/?p=3116 Okay, so be prepared for a lot of pictures, because I loved everything about this wedding.  Caris and Matt were the kindest, most fun, carefree couple, and I simply adored them.  Their love for life, for Christ, for their families and friends, and for each other was so inspiring and beautiful.  They had their ceremony and reception at a great new venue called Yesterday’s Spaces.  For the ceremony, the guests and bridal party passed through a pathway of trees that opened up into a field over looking the mountains.  Couldn’t have been a better set up by nature!  Then the guests enjoyed delicious food by The Colorful Palate,  s’mores by the bonfire, and dancing to the band, Ascension late into the night.  A simply perfect evening!  Thank you to Caris, Matt and their families for allowing me to be a part.

Thank you to Lissa with Flora, for the romantic and delicate floral.  You were able to capture Ola and Nathan’s vision perfectly!  Also a huge thank you to their fabulous photographer, Jeremy Russell.  So hard to choose when every picture is amazing!  :)

First, I wanted to share pictures of Ola and Nathan’s rehearsal dinner located at the Champagne Cellar at The Biltmore Estate…

I just love it when daddy's first see their little girls... :)

]]> http://weddingswithtara.com/blog/a-biltmore-estate-wedding/feed/ 3 Stephanie and Adam’s Intimate Wedding http://weddingswithtara.com/blog/stephanie-and-adams-intimate-wedding/ http://weddingswithtara.com/blog/stephanie-and-adams-intimate-wedding/#comments Thu, 24 Mar 2011 20:32:23 +0000 tara http://weddingswithtara.com/?p=2304 I loved every aspect of Stephanie and Adam’s wedding day, because it was so intimate and precious.  To me, the ceremony began back in their hotel room, as they wanted to dress each other for the most special moment of their lives.  I just know it was like time stood still for them, and you can see this in Parker Pfister’s breathtaking photographs.  After going around the spectacular grounds of the Biltmore Estate for pictures, they joined their family for their ceremony in the Champagne Cellar.  Once the ceremony ended, their guests were delighted by a winery tour and tasting while the Cellar was transformed into their dinner reception.  A wonderful day…

Blossoms did a fabulous job creating a magical atmosphere for this intimate wedding…

Parker must have said something pretty funny to us…  :)

Emily and John were married at the Basilica of St. Lawrence, and Emily looked breathtaking in her Monique Lhullier dress.  I loved this dress because the tulle skirt was detachable, so she looked like she was wearing a totally different dress at the reception.

Since they met in Sicily and it was a place that was dear to both of their hearts, we made sure it was sprinkled throughout the wedding reception.  Each table was named after a place that John and Emily visited, plus they included pictures they took when they were there.  An assortment of gelato was served to the guests along with the wedding cake, and Limoncellos were given as favors.  Sweet peas, which are native to Sicily, were painted on to each invitation by the amazing Dana with A Fine Line Studio, and they were included in her bouquet.  Stacey with The Bloom Room was responsible for the beautiful flowers…she never ceases to amaze me with her art!  And a big thank you to Abigail Seymour, who I adore working with, for these stunning photos…enjoy!

Kathyrn and Doug met while in school at Auburn, and they have been together for three and a half years.  They were very ready to get married and to spend their wedding weekend with friends and family.  I so enjoyed seeing Doug get so excited on the day of his wedding, and I especially enjoyed watching him as Kathryn rode up to the ceremony in a horse and carriage.  It was truly magical and very romantic!
