And now on to Part 2 of Carrie and Matt’s wedding weekend…the wedding day! Carrie and Matt’s said their vows to each other at the majestic and historic Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville. From there, guests made their way to the Deerpark, on the Biltmore Estate. At first guests enjoyed a cocktail reception in the Lodge Room, which Carrie and Matt renamed the ‘Smooches Lounge’. Smoochtinis were served to the guests, a Smoochbooth was set up for guests to take fun pictures, lounge furniture was scattered throughout, and best of all there was a Lipologist there to entertain!   What is a Lipologist, you ask?  This is someone who ‘reads’ lip prints! There was lipstick laid out for both women and men so they could ‘smooch’ a piece of paper to make their lip print. Then the lipologist would tell them what their lip prints meant…the guests loved it! After leaving the smooch lounge, guests were escorted into a truly enchanting reception fit for a princess and her prince! One of my favorite moments was when Carrie and Matt saw their reception site for the first time…they just gasped and said how amazing it looked. I believe I even saw a few tears brimming…love that!  Check out Corey McNabb‘s imagery…he captured the event so perfectly…enjoy!

Everyone had an amazing time (as you can tell) dancing to the beats of DJ, Pat Lance, with Spintastic Sounds.

Stacey and Bryan were married at the Biltmore Estate at the enchanting Deerpark.  The ceremony took place in the courtyard, surrounded by their family friends. After a plated meal their guests danced the night away under the stars.  It was a beautiful evening, and I know they were so happy to finally tie the knot!  Thank you to the always amazing Woodward + Rick for an exquisite job capturing this special event!

Stacey had personalized shot glasses made in memory of her dad.  Stacey gave a heartfelt toast to her father, and all of her guests joined in.

Katie and John will be getting married at the Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate next July.  They are such a lovely and sweet couple, and they are blessed to have Abigail Seymour as their photographer.   I adore her work, and she did such a fantastic job capturing the love between Katie and John.  Take a look!

I am so happy for Debra and Tripp!  What a wonderful couple…always smiling, and it was contagious.   Their wedding took place on the Vista of the Inn on Biltmore Estate, with a reception following inside the Vanderbilt Ballroom.  I loved Debra’s colors of navy and apple green, and her classic but fun style.  Thank you to Blossoms for the floral design, and to Jeremy Russell for the perfect photography!  I guarantee these pictures will make you smile…the love and joy is so apparent in this gorgeous couple.

Anita and Michael were married on April 17th at the Inn on Biltmore Estate.  It was a lovely, intimate affair, and Michael and Anita were obviously very happy to finally be husband and wife!  Thank you to Regina Holder for the photographs, and to Blossoms for the sweet blooms!  Enjoy!

These engagement pictures by Two Ring Studios of Falon and Clay are so gorgeous…I just had to share!  Falon and Clay will be married in October at the Deerpark on the Biltmore Estate. They are incredibly sweet (and smokin’ hot)! 

I also have to say that I love love love their dog…so adorable!  Put a dog in front of me and I am mush.

Vicky and Kevin were married on a beautiful March evening at the Biltmore Estate.  The ceremony took place in the historic Lodge Room at the Deerpark, followed by a dinner reception and dancing.  I just loved working with Vicky and Kevin.  Vicky knew what she wanted, made decisions quickly, and I enjoyed helping her make it come together.  Fun!  Blossoms did a beautiful job with the floral, and the amazing Abigail Seymour captured every sweet moment.  Thank you, Abigail, for sharing these pictures…

I am thrilled to be working with Lauren, Chad and their families on their upcoming wedding in September.  The wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at the Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate.  It is going to be one amazing event, and I can’t wait!!  This couple, as you will see, is GORGEOUS!  Fortunately, they are beautiful in the inside too!    Woodward + Rick were kind enough to share with me some of Lauren and Chad’s engagement pictures so I could share them with my blog readers.  Although Woodward +Rick are some of the best in the business, they still couldn’t have taken a bad picture of these two even if they tried!
