This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting the opening party for Corey McNabb’s Workshop that is taking place this week. We held it at Corey’s studio in Asheville, NC. Thank you to The Purple Iris for the fabulous flowers, to Eric (28806 catering) for the delicious food, and to Ryan with Masterpiece Ice for the coolest ice carving ever! The electric guitar ice carving was the hit of the evening!

Corey also asked me to be one of the speakers at the conference…what an honor! Thank you, Corey, for the opportunity! My ‘talk’ will be taking place on Wednesday, so I will let you know if I ever get asked to do it again!

On Saturday we went up to my parents house in Waynesville, and just enjoyed being with family. One of my parents’ neighbors has a cute little boxer puppy named Oscar. So, we had to take Toni and Bezer (my mom and dad’s dog) to play!

I hope everyone out there has had a wonderful week so far…now we are gearing up for the weekend. Last weekend, Collins and Jared were married in the mountains of Cashiers, North Carolina. Working with Collins and her mother, Marlene, was more than a pleasure; it was an honor. They are so genuine and down-to-earth…two of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. Their love for the Lord shines through in all they do, especially in how they treat others.

The setting of the ceremony was the personal home of one of their good friends, and the reception took place at the Trillium clubhouse. I would love to move into this house!! I had my wonderful mother with me to assist with this one…thank you, Mama! When people ask us about the wedding, we don’t even have words to describe how pretty it was. Since I can’t describe it, I will just let you see for yourselves! This is a slide show put together by their photographer, Abigail Seymour. It was wonderful getting to work with Abigail, as she is incredibly talented!

And, we had the privilege of babysitting Rufus, the great dane, once again. Toni was in heaven!!!

A few weekends ago, Katie and Zac were married at Claxton Farm. I love this place, as it is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Not only do you have a fabulous setting like this, but there are goats, cows and llamas all there to watch the festivities!! Corey McNabb sent me some pictures, and Katie looked so happy and fabulous! Katie, you are an awesome girl, and I wish you the best in your future!

Hello everyone! I wanted to post pictures from Hilary and Meade’s wedding back in June at the Grove Park Inn. Corey McNabb took amazing photographs, so I had to post as many as I could! After the wedding, Corey met them in the Bahamas to take pictures of them on their honeymoon. Such a luxury to have professional pictures of such a significant vacation! I loved working with Hilary and Meade…they were such a fun couple! Enjoy!

This weekend was a busy one. I had the pleasure of meeting with one of my bride’s, Sheila, and her mother to tie up some of the details regarding her wedding in September. Such wonderful people! Her wedding is at Champion Hills Country Club, where the views are spectacular!

On Saturday night, my husband and I attended Corey McNabb’s fabulous birthday party. It was nice seeing everyone, as always, and making new friends. It was a Black and White party at Corey’s studio…just in case you are wondering why everyone has on the same type outfits! Thank you Corey and Jill for the invite!
