The Knot Feature

To have one of my weddings featured in the Knot Magazine is SUCH a huge honor, so thank you to everyone that made this fabulous wedding a reality!  Love to Melissa and Aaron whose wedding at the Cliffs Glassy Chapel was simply amazing.  Guests were then taken to the Cliffs at Mountain Park for a night of delicious food, lots of love, and plenty of dancing!  To see more of this wedding click the links below:

MaryStuart + Chris’s Wedding Reception

Now on to the wedding reception!  After MaryStuart and Chris said ‘I DO’ on the banks of the Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee, their guests enjoyed cocktails outside before moving into the beautiful ballroom for dinner and dancing.  The night went by quickly, as they were truly having the time of their lives.  I just wish you could have seen the dance between MaryStuart and her dad…epic to say the least!  Enjoy some more gorgeous pictures by Anna Shackleford.

Melissa + Aaron’s Wedding Part II

On to the GLORIOUS reception at the Cliffs at Mountain Park.  I really can’t describe how much fun it was to transform this golf cart barn into a grand, ethereal, romantic, enchanted and organic space.  My favorite moment was when we had Melissa and Aaron plus their parents walk into the space for the first time before the guests were invited in.  To see their faces made every second of this journey so worth it. Please make sure you go back to Part I to see all the vendors that made their dreams come true!

Melissa + Aaron’s Wedding Part I

This was simply an EPIC weekend that I will never forget.

There are days where I just sit back and ask myself…is this really my job?  People like Melissa, Aaron and their parents are the reason I love what I do.  They are just so real, so full of joy, and always so friendly and warm.  What I loved about working with them, is that they completely trusted me and our great team of vendors to make their dreams a reality.  When Melissa called me and explained that she wanted to turn a golf cart barn into a magical place for a wedding reception, I was more than up for the challenge.  Melissa and Aaron’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and we had SUCH a blast putting this one together.  Melissa gave us the type of feel and colors she would like to use, and then let us PLAY!  So fun!  Seriously, I love them, and I was completely honored that I was able to work with them on such a special weekend in their lives.  I must say, I miss them!  Their 1-year anniversary was yesterday, and I am just thrilled for them.  This year has flown by.  I actually can’t believe I am JUST now sharing this with you all.

Jenna + Matthew’s Wedding Part II

Thank you again to all involved in making Jenna and Matthew’s wedding a dream come true!  To see the vendors involved, check out Part I now!  Champion Hills never looked so beautiful.  One of my favorite venues with a rustic vibe with lots of elegance thrown in.  Two Buds and a Blossom made it even more gorgeous with hanging greenery and bountiful blooms.   So excited for you to see Melissa Jill‘s pictures of this joyful day.  Please, when you can, check out the film by Ink Spot Crow.  DO NOT miss this!  You will see how FUN, how in love, and how completely precious this couple truly is.  Click here to view!

Jenna + Matthew’s Wedding Part I

Jenna and Matthew…two of the sweetest, most genuine, and certainly the most talented couples I have ever known.  They sing, they dance, they act…a match made in heaven!  As the wedding was being planned, they were both working at the Georgia Aquarium, and we were able to visit them a couple of times.  Pherson, my oldest daughter, is obsessed with dolphin, and during our last visit she was chosen to interact with the dolphins.  Needless to say, it was a day we will never forget!  Enough about dolphins….

Jenna and Matthew were married at Champion Hills Country Club, near Hendersonville, NC.  The moment Jenna and her mom visited, they knew that this was the perfect spot for their ceremony and reception.  The mountain views from the ceremony location simply cannot be beat, and this is exactly what Jenna was looking for.  On the day of the wedding, it started POURING the rain.  With lots of prayers, the clouds parted, and the sun came out just in time.  We were praising Jesus because these two completely deserved to have the perfect day.  Oh, and I can’t forget about the wonderful young dancers Jenna choreographed to fill the aisles with celebration before she made her entrance.  Loved this personal touch.  Thank you to Melissa Jill for traveling to the North Carolina mountains to capture all these special moments.  What a great team we had:

The relationship between these two was so special.  Loved when they prayed together right before walking down the aisle.  Tears!

Katie and Matt’s Garden Wedding

I just LOVE this wedding.  Katie and Matt’s wedding was intimate, welcoming and simply sweet.  The ceremony took place in the Walled Garden followed by a dinner reception in the Butterfly Gardens in front of the Conservatory on the Biltmore Estate.  Beautiful flowers and greenery surround this little piece of paradise on the Biltmore grounds, and it is by far one of my favorite places for an intimate wedding.  So thrilled for Katie and Matt, and thank you Rachael McIntosh for capturing their wedding so perfectly.  Enjoy!

Rachael + Kevin

Throwing it back again to 2015, when Rachael and Kevin were married on a perfect day at Claxton Farm.  Just thinking about this couple, and Rachael’s mom brings a warmness to my heart.   The fun they had at this wedding with their friends and family was simply contagious.  I love everything about Claxton….the views, the fields, Chocolate Chip (their llama), the goats and cows.   You can’t help but be relaxed when you step on to the property, as it just brings you to a place that feels like home.   I think you will see that when looking through these beautiful pictures by Jill with Realities Photography.

Kira + Jack’s Biltmore Wedding Part I

Kira and Jack….and actress and a chef from New York, were married at the Lioncrest on the Biltmore Estate this past fall.  Blossoms knocked it out of the park with their floral design.  So many fun details and so many focused on pigs!  Pig escort cards, pig ring bearer boxes, roasted pig, pigs on the bar, and pigs on their invites.  So freakin’ adorable.  Plus I must say that Kira had one of the most fun bridal parties ever.  They were so supportive, constantly made her laugh, and their love for her was truly fierce.  I just adored them.  Thank you to Jill, with Realities Photography, for making this day all that more enjoyable by your presence and by taking some fabulous photos!  Look out for Part II!
