Melissa + Aaron’s Wedding Part II

On to the GLORIOUS reception at the Cliffs at Mountain Park.  I really can’t describe how much fun it was to transform this golf cart barn into a grand, ethereal, romantic, enchanted and organic space.  My favorite moment was when we had Melissa and Aaron plus their parents walk into the space for the first time before the guests were invited in.  To see their faces made every second of this journey so worth it. Please make sure you go back to Part I to see all the vendors that made their dreams come true!

Melissa + Aaron’s Wedding Part I

This was simply an EPIC weekend that I will never forget.

There are days where I just sit back and ask myself…is this really my job?  People like Melissa, Aaron and their parents are the reason I love what I do.  They are just so real, so full of joy, and always so friendly and warm.  What I loved about working with them, is that they completely trusted me and our great team of vendors to make their dreams a reality.  When Melissa called me and explained that she wanted to turn a golf cart barn into a magical place for a wedding reception, I was more than up for the challenge.  Melissa and Aaron’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and we had SUCH a blast putting this one together.  Melissa gave us the type of feel and colors she would like to use, and then let us PLAY!  So fun!  Seriously, I love them, and I was completely honored that I was able to work with them on such a special weekend in their lives.  I must say, I miss them!  Their 1-year anniversary was yesterday, and I am just thrilled for them.  This year has flown by.  I actually can’t believe I am JUST now sharing this with you all.

First I will show you the ceremony captured by the lovely Cheyenne Schultz.  She and her husband were the perfect match for Melissa and Aaron, and the pictures reflect the beauty of their relationship and the wedding day.  Here is the ROCK STAR team of vendors:

Rebecca + Ryan’s Reception

Woodward + Rick Photographers | Asheville | The Bloom RoomOn to the final blog post for Rebecca and Ryan’s breathtaking wedding at the Biltmore Estate.  After their guest enjoyed a first floor tour of the Biltmore House, they sipped on cocktails on the Library Terrace while the families took pictures.  Then guests entered the grand tent, so exquisitely decorated with flowers by The Bloom Room, to be treated to a phenomenal dinner, a colorful fireworks display and a packed dance floor.  Rebecca wanted to add personal touches wherever she could.  This woman has skills, and for their guestbook she cross-stitched the entire Biltmore House and their names in the center of a vintage table cloth.  Every guest signed along the edge of the table cloth, and this is something Ryan and Rebecca will treasure forever in their home.  Rebecca also cross-stitched every table number on vintage doilies.  How incredible is that!

As I said before, the weather was perfect on this special night, and the sunset was one of the prettiest I have ever seen.  God was smiling down on these two, and it was a joy to watch.  Ryan and Rebecca are such an amazing match, and they didn’t stop glowing the entire night.  I can’t help but smile as I reminiscence on this day, and I am honored to be able to share it with you all.  THANK YOU to all involved that made this weekend possible.  I could never do what I do without so many top-notch vendors.

Ryan + Rebecca’s Ceremony!

This is truly a wedding that will go down in the history books, and I am giddy to finally share it with you.  You have seen the lovely Rebecca in her gown during her bridal portraits, and you have shared in their joy during the rehearsal dinner, and now the wait is over…on to the wedding day!  What an exquisite day, to say the least, that God blessed them with.  Even though it showered the day before, there was not a rain cloud in sight on this sunny day.  Ryan and Becca picked the Loggia, at the Biltmore House, to be the spot where they would see each other for the first time.  It was perfect.  I felt like I had stepped back in time watching Rebecca sweep down the Loggia to greet her husband-to-be!  Once the bridal party joined them and the group pictures began, the laughter and hugs never seemed to stop.  The fairytale ceremony took place on the Front Lawn of the Biltmore House.  One of my favorite moments was when Rebecca and her dad entered the scene by horse and carriage.  So perfect for the setting, and the tears in Ryan’s eyes were priceless.  Woodward + Rick outdid themselves as always, and it was wonderful having the brilliant filmmakers of Life Stage Films to also document the day.  Check out Ryan and Rebecca’s film here (click on the picture below):

Rebecca + Ryan’s Rehearsal Dinner

12-cecil-rd-194b

Now on the Rebecca and Ryan’s rehearsal dinner at the Biltmore Estate.  After rehearsing for the big day, the storm clouds dissipated, and the family and bridal party gathered on the Loggia to toast their marriage.  Rebecca and Ryan worked with Biltmore’s winemaker, Bernard, to create a special dosage just for their wedding weekend.  Tears flowed, laughter ensued, and we even got to see a saber sword fight between Ryan and his brother, Bill.   Such incredible moments to witness!  Thank you, again, to Woodward + Rick for these pictures!

Rebecca and Ryan made it so personal with pictures on every table of their family and friends.  Also, Rebecca is extremely crafty as you will come to know, and she created the table numbers with dried flowers.  One of my favorite touches, was Rebecca’s great grandmothers vanity filled with special items from both her family and Ryan’s.  The evening was a laid back, light-hearted affair with a breathtaking backdrop of the Biltmore House and Blue Ridge Mountains.
