The wedding between Caitlin and Trevor was extra special to me because Caitlin’s family are very dear to my heart!  I have known them for a while now, and to see Caitlin and her parents so happy brought me so much joy!  Caitlin and Trevor’s wedding took place at the lovely Claxton Farm, surrounded by North Carolina’s stunning mountains.  Meriah Mozingo did an outstanding job with photographs as you will see below.  Thank you to Liz with The Purple Iris for creating the perfect floral floral design for Caitlin and Trevor.  I had so much fun working with Denise and Fred (Caitlin’s parents), and I thank them for asking me to be a part of this very special occasion in their lives.

Jana and Noah were married in May at The Farm in Candler, North Carolina.  The rain was threatening, but the ceremony was seamless and gorgeous outside in front of the gazebo.  In fact, as they were walking up the aisle as husband and wife, it started sprinkling.  It was perfect!  I adore Jana and her family, and it was such an honor and blessing to work with them on such a special event.  We had so much fun planning this wedding, and they wanted to make sure their guests had fun also!  The Colorful Palate delivered a very tasty barbecue dinner, the flowers were happy, bright and colorful, the games were everywhere, and the guests couldn’t stop smiling.  What a wonderful evening it was!  Fortunately, such talented photographers as Two Ring Studios were there to capture this wedding so perfectly…thank you, guys!  Enjoy!

What an adorable Lego groom’s cake! 

Right now I am sitting in the hospital waiting to meet my nephew or niece…my sister-in-law (Laura) is in labor as I type, and I am very ready to be an aunt! I am sure I will be posting pictures of the new little one, but for now I will share some pictures with you that were taken at the baby shower that a few friends and I threw here back in July. The shower took place at my house in the basement. We had so much fun! Thank you, Troy (big bro), for taking these photos…

I have to give props to Tiffany, with Tiffany’s Baking Company, for making this AMAZING cake. My mouth dropped open when I went to pick it up. I took pictures of all the little animals on Troy and Laura’s baby quilt, from Pottery Barn (Cottontail Friends), so that she could incorporate them onto the cake. Wow!!! She could not have captured my vision any more perfectly!! She is SO talented!!
