Natalie and Jeff both live in New York, and they are heading to Natalie’s hometown of Asheville to be married.  Natalie and Jeff dated for four and a half years before getting engaged, so they are definitely ready to tie the knot on August 22nd.  They are treated their guests to a rehearsal dinner at the Riverbend Barn on the Biltmore Estate before having a gorgeous wedding at the famous and historical Grove Park Inn.  Should be an amazing weekend for all!  Read more about this precious couple…

How did you meet each other?
We actually met at a bar in New York City.  We were there at separate friend’s birthday parties.  Most of the time when we tell people this we get a funny reaction.  But, we found out later it is a tradition in our families…Natalie’s parents met at a bar and so did Jeff’s parents!
engagement-photoWhen did you get engaged and how did he ask?
We were engaged in April 2008, a day after Natalie’s birthday.  We had planned a trip to New Orleans for Jazz Fest.  Once we arrived, Jeff proposed the minute we walked into the hotel room because he was so nervous.  But, then he had a whole day planned, including a traditional New Orleans lunch and then concerts at Jazz Fest.
What do you two do for a living?
Natalie is currently a M.B.A. student at New York University.
Jeff recently left the ‘finance world’ to teach accounting at a local college in New York City and pursue his own business venture.
What are some of the activities you like to do as a couple?
We love running, playing tennis, traveling, discovering new Mexican restaurants in New York and cuddling with our cat, Nepal.
Why did you choose Grove Park Inn as your wedding location?
Natalie grew up outside of Asheville and wanted to share the beautiful Asheville mountain views with all of our wedding guests.  And, what better place to see the beautiful scenery than Grove Park Inn’s Mountain View Terrace!img_1169
When you think about your wedding, what are you most excited about?
We are most excited about having all of our families and closest friends together to celebrate for one night.
How would you describe the style of your wedding?
Somewhat modern and contemporary-we both like simple, but modern looks.
What do you love about each other?
Jeff:  What I love about Natalie is…aside from her natural beauty, I love Natalie’s inner soul-her compassion for others (family, friends and our cat!) and the little things she does to turn even the worst days into comfort.  I love that she seeks adventure and pushes us to do new things together.  I love that she is more organized than I am, and will one day have our kitchen and closets on the Dewey Decimal System!  Natalie is my best friend, is always supportive, and is my bedrock.
Natalie:  What I love about Jeff is…I love that Jeff is the most thoughtful and caring person I know.  He is always there for his family and friends; everyone knows they can count on him for anything.  And, he always knows how to make anyone feel special, especially me.  He makes everything fun and can always find the best in any situation.  And I am constantly in awe of his heart and determination.  Jeff is definitely my best friend and soul mate.
