Meg and Ross were such a lovely couple, and Meg was very passionate about all of her wedding details. What I loved so much about this wedding was all of the Do-It-Yourself touches throughout the decor. Meg’s father is very artistic, and we used his ability as much as possible! He painted a picture of the Claxton Farm for the guests to sign, he painted all of the table names on tree stumps, and made every sign that you will see throughout the pictures below. For a fun twist, Meg and Ross wanted to make a photobooth of their own Fabric was draped, props were put in place, and cameras were snapping. Love it! Thank you to Jeremy Russell with Corey McNabb Photography for taking such gorgeous photographs of Meg and Ross’s special day!
In lieu of favors, Meg and Ross donated money to the American Cancer Society in memory of Meg’s mother. Money was also donated to Jude’s Children Hospital. Miniature yellow roses were Meg’s mother’s favorite flower, so they were sprinkled throughout the decor in her honor.
Meg and Ross had a private meeting before the ceremony began…can you tell he loves her? 🙂
Sangria, lemonade and mojitos were served to guests as they arrive. They had stirrers shaped like golf flags for all the drinks because Meg and Ross met playing a golf game!
Love, love, love this bouquet by The Bloom Room!
Gotta love the hay lounge…couches and chairs made out of hay…perfection! Don’t they look comfy?
Cakes by Jane‘s cakes are always unbelievable, and this one is no exception!
