When I received the call from Samantha asking for my help with her wedding at the Deerpark on Biltmore Estate, I was over the moon. Since Ben is a current member of the band Asking Alexandria, Sam wanted the wedding to be sexy, elegant, with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Reds, blacks, and silvers were the colors of choice (of course), and she literally let me and The Bloom Room run with the design and details. Knowing she trusted us to create her dream wedding thrilled us to no end. To say that Sam is super cool (is it even cool to say super cool?) is an understatement. Striking, genuine, lovely and charming are a few words to describe her. Needless to say, getting to know Sam was a complete joy, so I knew that Ben had to be one fantastic fellow. I didn’t get to meet Ben until the rehearsal, and being part of a ‘heavy metal’ band, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was completely blown away by how humble, respectful, super adorable, and kind he was. Not to mention, that the English accent is simply…awesome. As I stood back and watched the two of them together I couldn’t help but notice how truly happy they were in each others presence. What an honor to be able to witness this.
I was so impressed by the two photographers that Sam and Ben chose to tell the story of their day, so I want to share pictures from both. First pictures you will view are from the lovely Kelly and Bryan with Black and Hue Photography. Hopefully in another post, I will be able to show you pictures by Milton Photography. It was wonderful meeting and working with both!
And can I just stop here and say how impressed I was by the custom-made suits that Ben and his groomsmen wore?! Seriously, I couldn’t stop staring, nor taking pictures with my phone of the details of each suit. To die for..for real. Fantastic job by Kyla Custom Rock Wear.

I also wanted to say congratulations to Asking Alexandria’s newest album ‘From Death to Destiny’ for debuting at #5 on the Billboard Top 200. Also fun to see Ben on the cover of September’s issue of Guitar World Magazine!
Those flowers are amazing! That deep red is so beautiful!
