How did you meet each other?
One of my highschool friends wanted to introduce me to Ryan over the summer before I started college. He was fraternity brothers with Ryan at Appalachian and thought that we would make a good match. I was reluctant to meet him since I was just starting college, but one night I went to a party with our mutual friend, and Ryan was there. We hit it off immediately and have been together ever since.
When did you get engaged, and how did he ask?
We were on a vacation in Europe where we did a month of French School near Nice, France and then traveled to Switzerland. On our last day in Interlaken, Switzerland, we went for a hike and picnic. After our picnic we were enjoying the view when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

What do you two do for a living?
Ryan works with the Biltmore Company and I currently work for Americorp, Project Power through Children First Communities in Schools at ArtSpace Charter School.
What are some of the activities that you like to do together as a couple?
We love hiking, ridding bikes, dancing, playing with our cats, going on long scenic drives, traveling.

Why did you choose the Biltmore Estate as your wedding location?
It is the most beautiful and romantic place in my mind to be married (or to visit for that matter).
When you think about your wedding, what are you most excited about?
Bringing together our two families and celebrating our love and union in front of our friends and family.
What do you love about each other?
Becca: What I love about Ryan is his determination and thirst for life. He is so passionate in what he does and he sets his mind to something and accomplishes it. I also love how light hearted and silly he is. He always is able to make me laugh.
Ryan: What I love about Becca is…her personality, beautiful smile, and her love for life and others. Becca is a caring person who devotes herself to a life filled with helping others and selfless acts of kindness. Her optimistic personality, smile, and laughter are contagious.
