Now this is a pretty couple…no denying it.  A true life Barbie and Ken in my opinion!  Sarah and Doug are a perfect fit, and the wedding of their dreams will take place at the Diana at Biltmore Estate.  Views of the mountains and the Biltmore House make for an enchanting backdrop that will leave their guests in awe.  So excited to see it all come together!  Get to know this special couple as they answer a few questions below…

How did you meet each other?

We knew each other from playing tennis at Chastain Tennis Center (Doug was a tennis coach and he coached the drills that I attended). We were out with friends one night and saw each other walking across the street and started talking. We have been inseparable ever since!

How long have you two been together?

 Almost 2 years!

When did you get engaged, and how did he ask?

We got engaged on September 8, 2013 at the Four Seasons in Maui!  Doug started planning this trip to Maui in February (we had only been dating for about 4 months), so I just thought this was a fun trip and I had no idea he was going to propose!  He had champagne sent to our room while we were getting ready for dinner and once I was ready he said “there is one more thing you need to wear” then he got down on one knee and proposed!

What do you two do for a living?

Doug started working in the family car business in June, and I am a nanny for 3 year old twins.

What are some of the activities that you like to do together as a couple?

We love to be together no matter what we are doing. Some of our favorite things to do together are playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and just relaxing while watching movies.

Why did you choose the Biltmore Estate as your wedding location?

It was the first venue we visited and we knew nothing could top getting married in front of the castle-like estate! It was also the first time we visited Asheville and we both fell in love with the city!

When you think about your wedding, what are you most excited about?

We are so excited to get married in front of our family and friends in such a beautiful place!

What do you love about each other?

Sarah:  What I love about Doug is how genuinely sweet he is. I love his sense of humor and how he can always make me smile. I love that I can just be myself around him.

Doug:  What I love about Sarah is how thoughtful she is and how she always takes care of me. I love how we can go on long trips and still love each other at the end as much as the beginning. Also, I love that we can just be with each other and neither one feel like we need to entertain the other.
