What an elegant, genuine, and tender hearted couple…there is NO way you can’t love Chase and Clary!  Just read what they say about each other in the interview below!  So wonderful getting to know them throughout this planning process. I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to be a part of their wedding at the Biltmore Estate.  They will wed in the Walled Gardens surrounded by friends, family, and the enchanting beauty of garden blooms. Enjoy getting to know them…
How did you meet each other?
At the Jane Goodall Institute’s 30th Anniversary Gala in 2007. Chase was accepting the Youth Leadership Award and Clary was a communications intern. Jane Goodall was a hero of both of ours growing up and we were honored to work for her during this time.
When did you get engaged, and how did he ask?
We got engaged the day after Thanksgiving 2013. The day after Thanksgiving Clary and Chase left Columbia, SC and her family to visit with Chase’s family in Asheville, NC. Upon arriving at his family’s home, Clary and Chase went for a walk to Chase’s favorite spot called “The Point.” As they stood there together under the oak tree watching the sunset, Clary heard Chase’s voice behind her, “Clary?” She spun around to hear him say, “Will you marry me?” After recovering from her surprise she said “yes!” The ring belonged to Chase’s late grandmother, making it even more special. After learning Chase’s family already knew of the proposal, Clary quickly called her family to tell them the news. Nobody answered her calls at first. Finally her father answered and gathered everyone around to hear the couple tell them they were engaged. After congrats from her family, they walked back to Chase’s house with Clary feeling a little remiss that her family was not there to celebrate. As the two opened the door to the house, they found Clary’s family as well as Chase’s waiting with champagne glasses in hand. Chase had spent months planning not only his proposal but including both of their families in the celebration.

What do you two do for a living?
Chase is in marketing at Biltmore and Clary is a contractor for Disney.
What are some of the activities that you like to do together as a couple?
Traveling, hiking, eating (we are foodies), and spending time with family and friends.
Why did you choose the Biltmore Estate as your wedding location?
We both have fond memories of Biltmore and it’s a beautiful venue with an amazing staff!
What you love about one another?
Clary: What I love about Chase is…a million things, he is one of those rare true gentlemen that still walk this earth. I’m so lucky to have found him. But what I admire about him most is his consistent positive attitude. He can always see the glass half full!
Chase: What I love about Clary is… her kind spirit and her love for life. She is always willing to take time to help a person or animal in need. She knows how to savor those special moments in life with close friends and family. My favorite characteristic about Clary is that we always have fun when we are together!
