Super creative, incredibly artistic and absolutely adorable are perfect words to describe Rachael and Kevin.  They both are cartographers, and Rachael works for National Geographic…how fun is that?  They will be getting married this June at Claxton Farm in an incredible setting surrounding by the mountains.  Read more about them below…
How did you meet each other?
Were were classmates in the geography department at Appalachian state university
How long have you been together?
8 years!! our first date was January 30 2007. He took me to taco Tuesday at the Boone saloon 🙂

When did you get engaged, and how did he ask?
We got engaged jan 24th 2014. I knew something was coming and figured he’d would ask me at our anniversary dinner. Instead he surprised me on a dog walk to our favorite park in Denver. He hid champagne in the bushes and got down on one knee in the pavilion .
What are some of the activities that you like to do together as a couple?
We love to travel, go see live music, and go camping with our dog.

Why did you choose Claxton Farm as your wedding location?
We chose Claxton farm as our location because we love being outside in the mountains.
When you think about your wedding, what are you most excited about?
We are most excited to have all of our friends and family together in such a beautiful place! And to let loose on the dance floor 🙂

Rachael: I love how funny he is. He makes me laugh out loud everyday.
