So, I know I am a wedding planner, but I had to share some of the fun details of a baby shower I had the honor of co-hosting with one of my besties, Aubrey.  This was not just a baby shower for one couple, but two couples who are due around the same time this Spring.  Sometimes it is nice to step away from work, yet still be designing and planning an event.  Aubrey and I think a lot alike, and although both couples are having boys, we wanted decided to steer away from your typical BLUE that is expected.  We fell in love with the combo of orange and gray, and it turned out exactly like we imagined.  Even though this shower was held at the lovely Lioncrest at Biltmore, we did not want too fancy of a menu.  Babies grow up to be kids….and so we did a complete kid’s menu…just adultified slightly (yes, I just made up that word).  The food was amazingly delicious, and I want to eat everything all over again (preferably on a daily basis).  In the end, it was such a blast…not only to be a part, but to see these two couples glowing with the knowledge that their lives are about to completely change in the most amazing way.  So so thrilled for them!  Praying for good health for these precious baby boys, and easy deliveries for the mamas!

I loved every single piece that Meredith, with Merrily Written, did for us….this wonderful chalkboard menu and all the signs at the food/beverage stations.  I mean look at this menu…tell me you are not drooling?
